PoE (Power over Ethernet) is getting more and more popular and necessary these days. It is a high performance and cost effective option for combining data and power over single Cat5e/Cat6 cable to remote devices. You do not need to use several cables for data and power. Some of the mostly used devices are security cameras, IP phones and access points. Iksis Networks PoE Switches allows to easily add PoE devices to the network. Plug-and-play Switches will automatically detect and supply power with IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at compliant devices. PoE Converters will connect copper to fiber while providing power over the Ethernet. If you want to use PoE without replacing current Ethernet switches or adding external power supply, you can use PoE Injectors. PoE Splitters are perfect for installing non-PoE devices in remote locations by splitting the networked PoE signal into separate power and data sources.
